My Review:
What a devilishly fun read!
Meet Coriel, a vengeful angel who falls in love with the handsome demon Zagan. When Zagan enslaves Coriel more than just a battle of the heavens vs hell ensues. It seems the heir to the underworld has met his match in the feisty and courageous angel.
This book had more twists and turns than I'd anticipated and these were welcome and enjoyable. The relationship was as steamy in the dialogue as it was in the intimacy scenes, which dare I say it were as hot as hell ;)
The author plays with well known mythology and biblical themes without it feeling forced or overly clichéd, given the subject matter that's quite an achievement and it makes the story really enjoyable, fun and entertaining.
Given the predictability of the subject matter, the story was refreshingly unique and intriguing. I loved the play on the deities and the strength of the character personalities.
All in all, it was delightfully entertaining and one I'd thoroughly recommend if you enjoy paranormal romance.
